Who Runs This Site
NclexCompass is an independent publication. We are not a staffing agency, immigration law firm, or CGFNS-affiliated service. Our editorial process prioritizes factual accuracy and source citation over any commercial relationship.
All data published on this site comes from primary public sources: NCSBN annual statistics PDFs, BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, the U.S. Department of State Visa Bulletin, state Board of Nursing websites, and CGFNS/TruMerit fee schedules. Where data comes from community sources (nursing forums, investigative journalism), we cite the source.
What We Earn Money From
This site currently earns no revenue. Links to test prep providers (Kaplan, UWorld, Archer, Hurst) go directly to their websites — we receive no commission. Display advertising and affiliate programs may be introduced in the future. If and when that happens, this page will be updated to reflect those relationships.
What We Will Never Do
- ✗Accept payment, gifts, or sponsored content from recruitment agencies (PassportUSA, Connetics, O'Grady Peyton, Avant Healthcare, or any other agency)
- ✗Promote a specific agency in exchange for compensation
- ✗Conceal fee information that materially affects a nurse's financial decision
- ✗Provide legal or immigration advice (we are not attorneys)
- ✗Publish data without citing the primary source
Editorial Policy
Our editorial independence is the only thing that makes this guide useful. Recruiter guides hide fees because their business model requires it. We publish fees because we have no reason not to.
Data pages (NCLEX pass rates, RN salaries, Visa Bulletin dates) are updated annually or monthly as new data is released. Each page carries a "Last updated" date and links to the primary source. If you find an error, contact us.
The agency comparison page publishes "Not disclosed" when agencies refuse to publish their fee and contract terms. That is itself the data point. As agencies respond to outreach or public records become available, cells are updated.
